Short version: your audio is processed live on your Mac and never recorded, stored, or sent anywhere. Period.
Compressito processes system audio in real time, entirely on your device, to apply compression. Audio is never written to disk, transmitted over the network, or shared with us or any third party. It exists only momentarily in memory while it is being played.
The app itself collects no personal data and contains no analytics or tracking. It checks for updates by requesting a small version file from our server; this involves a standard web request and is not tied to your identity.
Purchases are handled by our payment provider, Lemon Squeezy, which acts as our merchant of record. They process your payment and email, and issue your license key. They require a phone number for verification purposes. We do not use this number in any way. We use your email only to deliver your license, provide support, and honor the money-back guarantee.
